Induction to the
PGCAP programme is a half-day event on 18th September from
9:30am-12:30pm to be held in W417.
PGCAP Induction has been designed to build bridges between your own
background knowledge, experiences and practices, and what is known about
learning, teaching and assessment practice from theory and research, as well as
from good practice. The event will therefore build from your own conceptions
and beliefs about teaching, learning and assessment practices with a view to
help you to acquire or further develop an informed understanding of teaching,
learning and assessment, underpinned by contemporary thinking and
theory/research into teaching and the support of learning.
